When: May 1, 2008
Where: Provo, UT (I'll be attending a church women's conference at BYU both Thursday and Friday and would love for you to join me, or you can just come to the blog party Thursday night!)
Who: any friendly blogger that would like to come and meet other fellow bloggers! All are welcome!
What: We will have a room on campus and will have a catered dinner, plus games and my famous mint brownies! Ticket price will probably be around $15-20.... exact price to be announced in February.
If you are interested in coming, let me know! We will exchange more specifics through an email group as it gets closer. We also have info. on cost to stay the night for cheap if you're coming from out of town.
I will also post a list of who's coming so you can study up on their blog and be prepared to recognize them in person. So far the girls that are in are Celia, Paige and Jessica (see their blogs for more info.). Now, who else is in??

Are you as excited as I am? Does this mean we need a life? Now can we call them real friends instead of virtual friends?
Anyone who doesn't come is kicked out of the virtual club. We are buying plane tix to Utah for Heaven's Sake.
I'd love to go, but I'm telling you what I told Celia. I'm not coming unless Angie's coming, 'cuz I know her in real life and I'm too timid to go if I don't "actually" know anybody.

And everyone else, if you can't come that is ok. Obviously we will still be blog friends even if you can't come. But I would love to meet you. That is why I'm inviting everyone. We'll see what happens.

Wow, I would love to come! I am jumping on the "I won't come unless _____ comes" bandwagon though, and Denae, I'm counting on you to help me convince Mindy to come!
Mindy, I know you'll be 8 months pregnant at the time, but do you think you could swing it? (And I love how I am writing to Mindy via a comment on Denae's blog, because I know for sure she will read it here.) The wonder of blogs!

Mindy, I was trying to calculate your pregnancy in my head to see if you could come... I know you'll be far along but I think you'll be fine. And if you went into labor we would all take care of you! So can you come?

Oh DaNae, I'm dying. All my favorite 'virtual' people will be there. I don't think I can swing it with all my vacationing lately. I so wish this were in the summer, cause we stay in Utah. Hmmmmm... weekend, no babysitter needed..... hmmmm... working out argument in my head...

You know my reasons for not coming and I am sad that I will miss out on the party of the year. Hopefully I can squeeze out the baby before you all leave me alone and friendless during my time of need.

Brigitta, sorry to leave you alone... but I'm sure the baby will come before that right??? Even though the party will be fun I still wish I couldn't go for your same reason.

Denae, you are a party girl after my own heart!!! I DIE over this idea and would be there in a heart beat... but I just have two minor issues holding me back.
1. I can't fly anymore. the thought of it puts me into a full blown panic attack. So I would have to make the summster drive with me.... but then their is issue #2... I will have just had a c-section (the week before) and I don't think you girls want to help change my scar bandages and push me around in a wheelchair. I would put a big damper on the blog party. But give me a year and I'll be there for the next one with my pom poms on and ready to cheer for uniting blogging buddies!
p.s. I am trying to get a hold of Sherri Dew, so if you see her can you slip her my number for me. I'd appreciate it.
Man, I live on the other side of the country and we just did our BIG trip out West for Christmas. Have fun though!!
Oh my goodness, that sounds awesome!!!!!!! I SO SO SO want to go. I am traveling so stinkin' much I am breaking the bank. I need to move back to UTAH!!!!!!! I doubt I will be able to come, but I will surely talk it over with my hub. Sounds fabulous. I'll let you know!!!!!!!!
It sounds like tons of fun but the only people I even slightly know are you and I did meet Paige. Getting to Utah for me would be no problem, (my whole family is there and I'm from there). So I am going to put myself as a maybe right now.
I'm LOVING this idea. But the fact that I would go knowing....let's see....no one, how desperate am I!!??

I have no excuse since I'm minutes away. I'm SO there! What a fun idea Denae. I'd love to go to the womens conference too. I've always wanted to but have never been even though I've lived here for almost 10 years now...whoa, thats a long time.
This looks SO fun and I certainly don't want to be kicked out of the virtual club. But I don't see how I can swing it. I am doing a triathlon that Sat. May 3rd. Stuffing my face with brownies and flying back into town last minute probably aren't in the training schedule. Bummer! Don't have too much fun without me. :(
Hey Denae, first time commenter here. I'm friends with Mindy and I kind of stalk your blog. You're just so entertaining. Anyway, I think this sounds like so much fun. I'm always looking for an excuse to go back to Provo (since I still have friends there) and I think the whole blogapalooza/Women's Conference is a great idea. I'll try and talk Mindy into going too. I feel kind of psycho since I've never commented before and nobody knows me, but I guess you still have 4 months or so to get to know me!
sigh... silly children and chicago weather... the things holding me back, I wish I could come and meet everyone.

I've never been to a blog party before. It sounds kind of scary. I'm kind of shy. I'll try and work up the courage. so i know it's april, and women's conference is around the corner, but i JUST found out about the big party. i'd love to join in the fun, is there still room? i don't know where i've been, but it seems like all my favorite people will be there.
