Macky Facts

Warning:  My blog posting is going to be random and chaotic for awhile as I try to catch up... but here's the thing... I don't really care about my blog being pretty or cool or exciting to read... it is truly just my family journal at this point... so I figure random posts are better than no posts right?

So today I want to talk about Mack.  He's at this age where you just die over him everyday.  Everything he says is so hilarious and cute to us.  But he's also a total stinker and gets into things he shouldn't and doesn't mind very well.  He also has told me that I'm a mean mom when he didn't get his way, which none of my older three kids ever said to me!

This summer was a great time for him.  Having the big three kids home was pure entertainment for him and he loved it.  A few mornings when we all slept in he woke up and came downstairs and made himself a sandwich.  He would make either a nutella sandwich or PB&J and one time he made a carmel sauce sandwich adn ate most of it while sitting in the backyard.  It was cute but a disgusting mess too (and no we don't ever eat carmel sauce sandwiches- he totally made that up).

He discovered that he loved to swim this summer.  He took lessons and at first really didn't like them.  But with a little bribery I got him to go and he learned to swim-- he can now get himself to the edge and go a few feet which is awesome.  He would play in the water all day if he could!

We love to go in at night and peek at how he's sleeping.

He loves his cousins a lot and always wants to play with one of all of them!

You're probably too young for a sleepover if you still have a binky!!  But the Blodgetts were moving in next door and I was helping Julie out by having her kids here.

Mack likes to help the kids with their lemonade selling.  Mostly he just drinks too many cups of lemonade without paying and wets his pants.

His wavy hair is my fave!

He does this thing lately where he will ask me to take a picture of him!  It's funny because he's not that photogenic.  Here he said, "take a picture of me and Mace mom" and then did this little post.  The big kids think it's hilarious.

We went peach picking and the boys were horrible at it- picked all the non-ripe or bird-eaten peaches!! Whatever.  They had a great time.

Macky has started doing jobs... he can take the recycles out to the can and unload the silverware from the dishwasher.  He loves to help but gets a little possessive of his jobs.

Cousin kisses

Big Mack

When the kids went to school this week he was sad.  He keeps asking when he goes to school?  Next week he starts preschool and I know he's going to love it.  He was telling the big kids all about it and I could tell he felt cool to have a school like they do.  And they hang on his every word - it's so cute.

More to come!
