Mack is eleven months today and here's what I want to remember:
his cheesy grin where he puts his chin in the air, scrunches his nose and squints his eyes
he's starting to have a little separation anxiety with me- he gets nervous when strangers are around and I'm not right there
he's taken about 2-3 steps on his own but only when he's really excited or mad
he's so tense- all of his muscles going all of the time
he drenches the entire bathroom during baths
he gives the best kisses- wide open mouth, a little tongue out- it is so sweet
he loves being outside and throws a big old fit when we come in
when I get him up from his nap I say "throw your binky away" and he throws his binky into his bed and then waves goodbye to it
he waves goodbye to people and things when he's just done with them
he has two and a half teeth on bottom, and one just barely poking through on top
he loves the stairs, strawberries, legos, music, the cat, and drinking through a straw
he hates going to bed, getting in his carseat, coming inside after playing outside, and macaroni and cheese (?) -can't figure that one out
Dear Mack, I am having such fun with you. Everyday is something new and I love seeing the world through your eyes- cars, trees, dogs, birds, new food- it is all so exciting to you and your eyes get big as you discover something and look up to see if I noticed it too. I love seeing your personality develop and learning who you are. You know what you want and when you want it. You laugh and smile so easily. You love your siblings and daddy. You sleep and eat so well- you are so healthy and happy and I am so thankful for that everyday. Love you my boy!
Only one more month till he's one?? Really??

I kinda can't believe he is almost a year.
He is so, so, darling. Such a joy boy. I love how you said that when he discovers something he looks to see if you notice it, too.
I also love that he waves goodbye to people and things when he is done with them. That is cute and hilarious.
