That is so hilarious! I knew the second I saw the picture they were fake BECAUSE of the level of the water in the pic! My husband would be so mad if I posted that about him! ehehehheheh

Clearly, then, he hasn't spent the last six months wondering when the flowers your boyfriend sent you were going to die. Because wouldn't he remember that he didn't get them for you?

I once had a similiar experience when my friend and her husband came over and he kept trying to smell my artificial flowers.
I thought it pretty funny myself, but then again, I can't really talk because there are some things that my husband and his friends are appalled that I don't know (usually in the field of sports, tools or cars).
So I try to keep my giggles to myself lest they get me back later ;-)
Well...at least he didn't try to be helpful and change the water ;)

I know there is no way for me to defend myself on this one, or even regain any small amount of dignity... BUT, nevertheless... in my defense, I just never realized how long it had been since they had been there. I just remembered how long all of the MANY flowers I've bought Denae over the years have lasted, and thought these must be similarly high quality flowers! In my mind they had only been there for like a month...
OK... so I'm a loser... please laugh at me some more... blah, blah, blah... yaddah, yaddah, yaddah (Denae hates it when I ramble on... so this is just a little payback) MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!! (She is right behind me, sighing her annoyed sigh, saying how short and sweet comments are better... ) MUHAMUHAMUHAHHAHAHAHAHAA!!!

That's funny. We have some fake flowers in fake water and my teenage son keeps putting real water in the vase to try and trick me. It isn't working. And it's getting annoying. Come to think of it, that's probably what he's going for.
